Leticia Martinez
Director of Bilingual Education
Leticia Martinez returns to East Central ISD in a district leadership role after previously serving as a Literacy Specialist, Bilingual Instructional Specialist, and Coordinator of the Bilingual Department. Most recently, she worked in Comal ISD supporting bilingual programs and educators. Her continued focus on multilingual learners makes her a valuable asset to our growing district.


Kasey Beckett

Kasey Beckett
Principal, Valor Middle School
Mrs. Beckett will lead Valor Middle School as its inaugural principal when it opens this fall. A dedicated member of the ECISD family since 2013, she most recently served as the district’s Personnel Coordinator. Her prior leadership experience includes roles as Associate Principal and Assistant Principal at Heritage Middle School, as well as Assistant Principal at East Central High School. Her vision and leadership will help establish a strong foundation for Valor’s first year.


Jaime Jaen

Jaime Jaén
Principal, Legacy Middle School
Mr. Jaén brings more than a decade of educational leadership experience to ECISD. Most recently, he served as principal at KIPP Texas Public Schools in San Antonio. His student-first approach and focus on academic growth will lead Legacy Middle School into a strong year ahead.


Susaye Scott

Susaye Scott
Assistant Principal, Honor Elementary
Mrs. Scott joins ECISD with 18 years of experience in education, including roles as principal, assistant principal, academic coach, and classroom teacher—all in Judson ISD. Her instructional leadership and focus on relationship-building will support students and staff at Honor Elementary.


Courtney Williams

Assistant Principal, Valor Middle School
Miss Williams brings 14 years of experience in education. Known for her commitment to student achievement and school culture, she will serve alongside Principal Beckett as part of the inaugural team at Valor.


Laura Gonzalez-Vasquez

Laura Gonzalez-Vasquez
Assistant Principal, Oak Crest Elementary
Mrs. Gonzalez-Vasquez most recently served as Principal at Ball Elementary in San Antonio ISD. Her previous experience includes roles as Director of Student Assessment and campus administrator in United ISD, where she served as principal, assistant principal, library media specialist, and teacher.


Margarita Lozano

Margarita Lozano
Principal, Victory Elementary (Opening Fall 2026)
Mrs. Lozano has been a key member of the Oak Crest Elementary leadership team since 2019. She began as Program Facilitator and became Assistant Principal in 2022. Known for fostering a positive school culture and supporting student success, she will lead Victory Elementary into its inaugural year.


Justa Garcia

Justa Garcia
Assistant Principal, Victory Elementary (Opening Fall 2026)
Mrs. Garcia has served East Central ISD for 14 years—10 years as a classroom teacher and the past four as a District Instructional Specialist for Pre-K. Her deep understanding of early childhood education and district priorities make her an ideal partner in building the new school community at Victory.
