Students Enjoyed Lots of Farm Fresh Fun at Honor Elementary

East Central’s Child Nutrition Department welcomed Ms. Kelli Wise from the Texas Department of Agriculture during last week’s Farm Fresh Challenge at Honor Elementary!
Students enjoyed a milk-themed celebration featuring guests from Dairy Max and Oak Farms’ very own friendly cow. The cafeteria was filled with fun decorations, milk hats, and giveaways as students enjoyed a delicious lunch of enchiladas, tamales, and locally sourced fruits and vegetables.
The event highlighted ECISD’s commitment to supporting Texas agriculture and recognizing the farmers and partners who help nourish students every day.
