Kasey Beckett Named Principal Fellow of Valor Middle School

Mrs. Beckett has been a valued member of the ECISD family since 2013. Her most recent role within the district was as the Personnel Coordinator. Before that, she served as the Associate Principal at Heritage Middle School and held the position of Assistant Principal at Heritage Middle School and East Central High School.

Before joining East Central ISD, Mrs. Beckett began her career as a teacher at Southwest ISD in 1997. During her 16 years with SWISD, she advanced to the roles of Assistant Principal and Academic Dean.

Mrs. Beckett holds an Educational Administration - Principal Certification from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, which she earned in 2007. She also completed her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University in 2003.

She and her husband Bob, who recently retired from the San Antonio Fire Department, have two sons, Ryan and Walker, both proud ECISD graduates.

We look forward to seeing Mrs. Beckett, with her extensive experience and dedication to education, lead the launch of the newest middle school in our district.
