From building cardboard vending machines as a kid to leading a national championship race—Hollie Helmke’s journey is nothing short of electric! A recent graduate and the Valedictorian of East Central High School’s Class of 2025, Hollie turned her passion for engineering into real-world success.

As a member of East Central’s Electrathon team, she didn’t just help design and build their electric race car—she drove it to victory! The team’s vehicle, The Hornet, raced to a national win this year with Hollie behind the wheel.
