East Central ISD is proud to announce its selection as a CTE District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT). This prestigious recognition highlights districts that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success through high-quality Career and Technical Education programs.
The CTE District of Distinction program honors school districts that go above and beyond to ensure students are workforce-ready and equipped with real-world skills. Honorees are chosen based on rigorous criteria, including innovative programming, alignment with workforce needs, attainment of industry-based certifications, and outstanding student outcomes.
Through East Central ISD’s comprehensive CTE pathways, students gain hands-on experience, earn valuable certifications, and explore careers in fields such as health science, technology, agriculture, culinary arts, and more.
