East Central ISD Continues Academic Momentum
LISA STALLARD
East Central ISD continues to build academic momentum across the district. The district’s 2025–2026 accountability score increased four points to 76, continuing an upward trend in student performance. City Education Partners has also recognized East Central ISD as the most improved school district in the San Antonio area since 2022. Five ECISD campuses earned a combined 17 TEA Distinction Designations for achievement, academic growth, closing achievement gaps and postsecondary readiness. These results reflect the hard work of our students, families, teachers and staff — and the systems in place to support continued improvement.
