Hello! My name is Kaylah Baca. The 2022-23 school year will be my first time serving as the Academic Dean of the English department. My previous role the last four years was the Instructional Facilitator for the English department. I have also been an English III and IV Level Lead. I was a classroom teacher for eight years for English IV, College Prep ELA, and Dual Credit (through Palo Alto College).

 

I have a Master's of Arts degree in English from The University of Texas San Antonio and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English Literature from The University of North Texas. I currently attend Texas A&M University at San Antonio and am taking educational administration graduate coursework to obtain principal certification.
