Tanna Rutherford is the daughter of Rebecca Rutherford. During her high school career, Tanna has taken several Advanced Placement courses, and been an active part in both East Central’s ECTV and National Honors Society. Tanna has been awarded the Academic Achievement Award in English, as well as Homecoming Duchess her sophomore year at EC. Tanna has been accepted into the University of Texas at Austin and will be attending in the Fall of 2021, where she will major in radio-television-film. Tanna would like to thank her teachers who have motivated her to strive for greatness within her academic career and personal life. She would especially like to thank Mr. McGinnis, her A/V production teacher, who has helped guide her through all four years at EC. With the help of her family, friends, and teachers, Tanna has grown into the woman she is today.
