Corbin Lubianski
Corbin Lubianski is the son of Sherri Lubianski and Craig Lubianski. Corbin’s time in the East Central Independent School District started when he was only three years old where he took speech classes to try to help develop his speech skills. In second grade, Corbin had to start taking additional classes to overcome his dyslexia. Despite the obstacles, he did not back down. During his four years at East Central High School, Corbin continually challenged himself by taking rigorous courses, participating in countless extracurricular activities, and conducting academic research. While in high school, Corbin served as FBLA Chapter Vice President, Band President, Low Brass Section Leader, Drum Major, and National Honor Society Secretary. He was a member of the ACE (Architecture, Construction, and Engineering) organization, Spanish National Honor Society, Robotics Team, and competed in UIL competitions. Corbin sought to extend his experiences beyond school by becoming the Texas FBLA State President and conducting research regarding Bexar County’s energy industry. Corbin was nominated for the Yale Book Award for Most Outstanding Junior. Corbin is extremely grateful for everyone who has supported his transformation to the person he is. He would like to extend his most sincere thanks to his friends and family that have pushed him to be the best he could be. Corbin plans to attend Harvard University where he intends to major in Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or Government.
