Candace Landrum is the oldest daughter of Matt and Sandy Landrum. During her four years at East Central High School she participated in several clubs such as the Green Team and IMPACT Team as well as served as East Central FFA President, Alamo District President, and Area 7 Treasurer. While in high school she also competed on various teams such as the East Central Volleyball team and Powerlifting team where she earned her varsity letter. In addition to the numerous AP classes, Candace has also traveled across the country. Not only was she recognized nationally as a National FFA Meats Evaluation Champion of 2018, but she also served as a Texas State delegate at the National FFA Convention as well as being recognized as a Borluag Scholar through the Global Youth Institute in 2019. Candace has also participated in several organizations outside of school to develop her voice and skill set for the future such as the St. Hedwig 4-H club and attending various leadership camps throughout the years. After partaking in every opportunity within her grasp, today Candace is planning to attend Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas to receive her degree in Agricultural Education in order to continue to be a voice for agriculture within the next generations.
