Brandon De Leon Martinez is the only son of Dalia De Leon and Benjamin Martinez. During his four years of high school at East Central he was a four year member of the Colloquium Honors program and took several rigourous advanced placement courses. He was a member of the Electrathon Team, Robotics Club, Art Club, Student Council, National Art Honor Society, and National Honor Society. He helped the Electrathon Team win 1st Place, three years in a row, at the annual Alamo City Electrathon Race from 2017 to 2019 and 1st Place at the national Emerald Coast Electrathon Race in 2019. Brandon was also the East Central Hornet mascot for two years during his high school career and was voted Most Spirited by his peers. Brandon would like to thank not only his parents for the love and support throughout his entire life to get him to where he is today, but also his friends who have supported him throughout these last four years. Brandon was accepted to the University of Oregon and their Clark Honors College Program where he will attend this fall and plans on pursuing Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management in hopes of one day being a part of the San Antonio Spurs franchise.
