Dr. Amanda Holman is the Director of College and Career Readiness for East Central ISD. Dr. Holman is a graduate of Tarleton State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Services and Development and her Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education. She then obtained her Doctor of Educational Leadership Degree from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. As a teacher, Dr. Holman spent 10 years teaching Agricultural Science and serving as an FFA Advisor. She gained experience in Career and Technical Education Leadership by serving as a CTE Department Leader and the Instructional Specialist for Career and Technical Education, before moving into her current role. Dr. Holman has a passion for research related to College and Career Readiness. She firmly believes that ALL students should be prepared for ALL post-secondary opportunities.
Dr. Holman and her husband have three young boys, a 3-year-old and 1-year-old twins. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
