Raptor Alert & Visitor

Raptor Alert is a safety tool our teachers and staff use to notify the entire campus during an emergency quickly. With the push of a button, ANY campus staff member can alert the office and law enforcement if needed, and the system instantly sends directions to everyone on campus.

Raptor alerts are based upon the Standard Response Protocol.

Fast. Coordinated. Connected.

• Immediate Response: Staff can trigger an alert within seconds if there’s a safety concern.

• Campus-Wide Communication: Teachers and staff instantly receive instructions on what to do, such as locking doors or sheltering in place.

• Integrated Safety: The system works alongside other security measures already in place to provide a coordinated response.

Why It Matters

Although parents don’t receive Raptor Alerts directly, this system helps keep your child safe by ensuring staff can respond immediately and follow clear safety steps in any emergency.

 

At East Central ISD, safety is our top priority. That’s why we use Raptor Visitor, a system that helps us know exactly who is on our campuses at all times. Raptor Visitor is an extra layer of security that helps protect our students, staff, and community every day.

Safe and Secure Visitor Check-In

• Check-In with ID: Visitors present a government-issued ID, which the system quickly scans.

• Instant Safety Check: The system screens visitors against public safety databases.

• Visitor Badge: Once cleared, a badge with the visitor’s name, photo, and purpose of visit is printed. This makes it easy for staff to identify approved visitors.

• Secure Records: Raptor keeps a secure log of who checked in and out, helping us maintain accountability.
