DID YOU KNOW? ECISD HAS THE LOWEST TAX RATE IN BEXAR COUNTYEast Central ISD is committed to providing an excellent return on the investment our community makes in public education. ECISD's total school tax rate is $0.9319 per $100 valuation. This is the lowest school district tax rate in Bexar County. By comparison, ECISD's tax rate was $1.69 in 1998. Today's rate is approximately 76 cents lower, representing a reduction of nearly 45%. While maintaining a low tax rate and operating with comparatively low per-student spending, ECISD continues to deliver academic growth and expanded opportunities for students. That is what it means to do more with less. |
