Leading the EC Way Monthly Recognition

Leading the EC Way recognizes employees who demonstrate the competencies that define how we lead, serve and work together in East Central ISD.

Each month, every campus is asked to select one employee who exemplifies the month's Leading the EC Way competency. The honoree may be any campus employee and is not limited to teachers or administrators.

How It Works

  1. Select one employee who has demonstrated the month's competency through their actions and work.
  2. Submit the nomination by the published deadline, including a specific example of how the employee demonstrated the competency.
  3. Your nominee becomes your campus's Leading the EC Way Honoree for the month. Campuses are encouraged to recognize and celebrate their honoree locally.
  4. Campus honorees will be reviewed, and one District Leading the EC Way Champion will be selected.
  5. The District Champion will be recognized at the following Board of Trustees meeting.

2026–27 Recognition Schedule

The recognition month refers to the month in which the employee demonstrated the competency. Nominations are generally due at the beginning of the following month.

Nominate Your Campus Honoree

Submit one honoree per campus for each recognition month. Be prepared to provide a specific example of how the employee demonstrated the month's competency and a high-quality photo suitable for district recognition.
