2024–2025 State Accountability Highlights


The 2024–2025 school year brought strong STAAR® results across the district, with Highland Forest Elementary, Salado Elementary, and Oak Crest Elementary earning A ratings and Sinclair Elementary and Tradition Elementary earning B ratings on the state accountability ratings, and ECISD campuses earning a total of 20 TEA Distinction Designations for excellence in academic achievement and growth — underscoring continued gains in student performance.

Top 1% in Texas Graphic


In 2025, 9,084 campuses across Texas received state accountability ratings.

Based on year-over-year improvement in overall accountability scores, Sinclair Elementary and Tradition Elementary ranked among the top 40 campuses statewide, placing them in the top 1% in Texas for accountability growth.
 

CCMR Ready

Ninety-six percent of the Class of 2025 met the state’s College, Career, or Military Ready (CCMR) standard, marking a record high for East Central ISD. This milestone reflects the district’s continued focus on preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed for success after graduation.

CBAS Report

Community-Based Accountability System (CBAS) Report

CBAS provides a comprehensive look at how our schools work to educate and support every child.

More than just test scores, the annual report highlights the programs, practices, and partnerships that reflect our district’s values and priorities. It also celebrates the hard-earned successes of our students, teachers, and staff, showcasing the collective effort it takes to help every learner thrive.

Federal Report Cards


Federal Report Cards provide detailed information about the performance of schools, districts, and states as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The report card includes data on: 

  • State Accountability Systems:  Details about the state's accountability system under ESSA.
  • Student Achievement:  Performance on state assessments in Reading/Language Arts, Math, and Science (by grade level and subgroup).
  • Academic Growth:  Progress of students over time in meeting grade-level expectations.
  • Graduation Rates:  Four-year and extended-year graduation rates for high schools.
  • English Language Proficiency:  Progress of English Learners (ELs) toward proficiency in English.
  • School Quality or Student Success:  Indicators such as student attendance, college readiness, and participation in advanced coursework.
  • Teacher Qualifications:  Percentage of teachers meeting certification and professional qualifications.  Percentage of teachers who are teaching out-of-field or under emergency certification.
  • Per-Pupil Expenditure:  Total funding spent per student at both the school and district level.

Texas Academic Performance Reports


The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
