This progress reflects the continued work taking place across East Central ISD. City Education Partners recognized East Central ISD as the most improved school district in the San Antonio area since 2022, and the latest accountability results show that momentum continuing.

Attendance is also an important part of student success. When students are in school, they have greater access to instruction, support and opportunities to learn. Improved attendance supports improved academic performance.

A Strong Return on Our Community's Investment
East Central ISD continues to operate with the lowest school tax rate in Bexar County and the lowest per-pupil spending in the area.
Being responsible stewards of public dollars means making every available dollar work as hard as possible for students. ECISD continues to prioritize classrooms and instruction, strengthen systems and carefully manage resources while producing stronger academic results.
Our academic performance is rising while we continue to stretch every taxpayer dollar.

We celebrate this progress while recognizing that our work is not finished. We will continue studying results campus by campus and student by student, building on what is working and strengthening the areas where students need additional support.
