Rising Star Camp

Rising Star Camp supports students in math and reading/language arts. Rising Star Math, for 6th-7th graders,  includes in-person instruction from highly certified teachers and virtual small-group sessions with expert math teachers from Carnegie Learning. Rising Star Reading, for 6th-8th graders provides intensive support to strengthen literacy skills, close learning gaps, and boost academic confidence.

During the program, students, working in groups of up to six, will participate in a three-station rotation schedule:

• In-person instruction by a classroom teacher
• Independent work on a computer-based math program
• Live acceleration instruction with a virtual instructor
