We’re excited to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, brought to you by Project AWARE! Throughout May, a variety of free events, trainings, and activities will be available to promote mental health awareness and support across our community. From creative arts sessions and wellness workshops to family nights and educational trainings, there is something for everyone to engage in and enjoy.
All events are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to participate in raising awareness and fostering a culture of care and connection. Project AWARE at ECISD
Communities in Schools of San Antonio, in partnership with East Central ISD, received a Project AWARE federal grant to expand mental health support across the district. The grant funds clinical mental health professionals, mental health awareness training, and wellness programs for all ECISD students, families, and staff.
