Get Hands-On Help with Registration
Join East Central ISD for Pre-K & Kindergarten Signing Days, where families can receive hands-on help with registration and ensure everything is ready for the 2026-2027 school year. Staff will be available to assist with enrolling your child and uploading required documents, making the process simple and stress-free.

During Signing Day, each child will sign a special certificate to mark the beginning of their Pre-K or Kindergarten journey, and families can capture the moment with a fun photo to remember this milestone.
Families may attend any of the following locations, all from 4:30–7:30 p.m.:
- April 8 – Oak Crest Elementary
- April 22 – Tradition Elementary
- May 7 – Harmony Elementary
- May 13 – Pecan Valley STEM Academy
What to expect:
- Registration Support: Get hands-on help completing registration and uploading documents
- Signing Ceremony: Children sign a certificate to celebrate enrollment
- Photo Moment: Capture this special milestone
- Education Celebration: Celebrate the start of your child’s school journey

Documents to Bring
Required:
- Child’s certified birth certificate
- Child’s social security card
- Child’s immunization records
- Proof of address (current electric bill or lease)
- Parent ID/TXDL (address must match the physical address)
Income Qualifiers:
- Current TANF or SNAP eligibility letter, if applicable, OR
- Current paycheck stub from all household members OR
- Current tax return, if self employed
Military Qualifiers (Active Duty/Purple Heart):
- Parent Military ID
- Statement of service
Foster Care Qualifiers:

Letter of verification from the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)
