East Central ISD offers six Choice Schools designed to provide specialized programs for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Each Choice School features a unique instructional model—from dual language and STEM, to leadership and college preparation—allowing families to find the program that best supports their child’s future.
New Student Registration
Please note that in-person registration will not be available on August 7 or 8. Here’s what you need to do to get started:
- Complete online registration through ParentPortal.
- Email the registrar at your child’s campus to let them know you’ve registered online.
- The campus will email you an appointment day/time for the week of August 11-15.

If your student’s name no longer appears under New Student Enrollment, your enrollment has been successfully processed.

If your student’s name is still listed with a date and time stamp, the enrollment is waiting to be processed.

If you receive an email stating the enrollment was denied, follow the instructions in the message to correct any issues. Then, log in to the Parent Portal, go to My Account > New Student Enrollment, select your student, make the necessary updates, and resubmit the application.
