New student registration

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here.

New Student Registration

New Student Registration is for families who are new to East Central ISD or who are enrolling a student who did not attend an ECISD school during the previous school year.

Families will begin the process by completing online registration through ParentPortal. After registration is submitted, please contact the registrar at your child’s campus to let them know the online portion has been completed.

Your campus registrar will review the submitted information and follow up by email if any documents are missing, did not upload properly or if additional information is needed. The registrar will also provide next steps, including when to report to the enrolling campus to finish the registration process and meet campus personnel.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Download the New Student Registration Instructions for help completing the online registration process in ParentPortal.

  • If your student’s name is still listed with a date and time stamp, the enrollment is waiting to be processed.

  • If you receive an email stating the enrollment was denied, follow the instructions in the message to correct any issues. Then, log in to the Parent Portal, go to My Account > New Student Enrollment, select your student, make the necessary updates, and resubmit the application.
