Required Documents
- Proof of residency
- Parent/guardian driver’s license
- Student’s birth certificate
- Student’s Social Security card
- Immunization records
- For Pre-K: Required eligibility documents
- For K–12: Most recent report card, transcript, or withdrawal form from previous school
Student Transfer Procedures
The Student Transfer Application for the 2026-2027 school year has been closed.
Transfer applications are currently only available for students who meet the following exceptions:
- The student's parent is an active-duty military member or a Texas Peace Officer (documentation required).
- The family is in the process of purchasing or building a home within the East Central ISD attendance zone and expects to move in during the school year.
- The student's parent is a new, full-time East Central ISD employee (TRS-eligible).
- New student to East Central ISD (five-day window begins after completing online registration.)
- Verified and confirmed cases of bullying or sexual assault. These incidents must be investigated by the campus.
