All registration for the 2026-2027 school year is completed online through ParentPortal. Whether you are new to East Central ISD, registering a Pre-K or Kindergarten student, or completing returning student registration, this page will guide you to the information you need.
Before starting, please review the checklist below and gather any required documents. Then choose the registration type that fits your student: Pre-K/Kindergarten, New Student, or Returning Student.

Please Note: Legacy Middle School begins classes on August 3 and follows a half-day schedule August 3–7.
All other ECISD campuses begin classes on August 10.

East Central ISD offers six Choice Schools designed to provide specialized programs for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Each Choice School features a unique instructional model—from dual language and STEM, to leadership and college preparation—allowing families to find the program that best supports their child’s future.
