Texas Senate Bill 12 (SB 12) Instructional Plans

Effective September 1, 2025, Senate Bill 12 introduces new statewide requirements for public schools, including East Central ISD, with a strong emphasis on parental rights and instructional transparency.

One key highlight of SB 12 includes:

• Instructional Compliance: All public schools and educators must fully implement and comply with mandatory policies established under state law. This ensures consistent adherence to statewide educational standards.

East Central ISD is committed to upholding this new standard while continuing to provide a supportive learning environment for all students.

To support transparency and parental engagement, East Central ISD has made all instructional plans available for review. These plans outline the curriculum within each course.
