Dual Language Academies
Our Dual Language Academy, located on Oak Crest Elementary and Salado Elementary, prepares PK-5th grade students for bilingual proficiency and success in a time when global communication is in high demand.
Designed for PK-5th grade students, these academies are more than just classrooms; they are dynamic spaces cultivating bilingual proficiency and setting the stage for success. In a world where global communication is increasingly crucial, our academies stand out as beacons of linguistic excellence and cultural understanding.
At the heart of our Dual Language Academies is a commitment to providing students with a comprehensive language education. From the earliest years of preschool to the critical stages of fifth grade, students are immersed in a rich bilingual environment that not only hones their language skills but also fosters a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Our academies go beyond the conventional, preparing students not only to navigate the complexities of language but also to excel in a globalized society where linguistic diversity is an asset.
The Leadership Academy at Salado
The Leadership Academy serves K-5th grade students and strives to build the young global leaders of tomorrow. Service-learning, career exploration and leadership development are its cornerstones.
Through a holistic approach to education, we aim to instill in students not only academic excellence but also the skills and mindset necessary for leadership in an ever-evolving world. Central to the Leadership Academy's philosophy are three cornerstones: service-learning, career exploration, and leadership development. We believe that education extends beyond the classroom, and our commitment to service-learning ensures that students actively engage with their communities, fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy. Career exploration becomes an exciting journey of self-discovery, allowing students to explore their interests and passions from an early age. Moreover, leadership development is woven into the fabric of our curriculum, empowering students with the skills and confidence needed to take on leadership roles, both now and in the future.
