Hi there and welcome to 3rd grade!
I am so glad to be back in third grade and have your child in my class this school year! Third grade is a huge year for your child in their academic growth, so we will be learning a ton of new things!
A little about me:
I was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from Medina Valley High school in Castroville, TX. I began college at Northwest Vista, and later finished at Palo Alto College with my Associates of Arts in Teaching. I then transferred to Texas A&M-San Antonio, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach EC-6TH grade. This year is my 10th year teaching, and after teaching for 5 years I decided to go back for my Masters degree in Administration. In December 2017, I graduated with my degree. Teaching and helping children is my passion, and I can not imagine doing anything else.
I have been married to my husband Paul for almost 19 years, and we have a 17 year old son, Devon. We have a Mini-Schnauzer named Bella.
My hobbies are reading, spending time with my family, and traveling.
Please feel free to contact me anytime via email, phone, or ClassTag with any questions you may have. I am so excited about this year and getting to know your child!

Please join me for the CURBSIDE Meet the Teacher in the bus circle on Thursday August 13 from 8-10 or 4-6:30 Please make sure you have my name written down as you will need that for the drive-thru. This will be a very brief interaction to say hi and for your student to get the materials they will need to begin remote learning. We will be weaing masks and social distancing.
If you are not able to make meet the teacher, there WILL NOT be a makeup day. Please send me an email or a text message and I will do my best to find a day for you to drive up and pick up your child's materials.
