There is a Communities In Schools - San Antonio (CIS-SA) site coordinator at every East Central ISD campus. Site Coordinators collaborate with school staff to assess, identify and prioritize student needs. Some areas of their support include:

• Promoting academic success and attendance
• Fighting food insecurity
• Encouraging mental and physical fitness
• Supporting family and social service needs
