Hi!

I am the speech/language pathologist at Sinclair Elementary. I was born and raised in South Texas before graduating from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. I then went on to earn a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

My job is to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders. A student may have a communication disorder that prevents them from communicating effectively with adults and peers in both academic and social settings.  This is my 23rd year working as a school SLP and my second year working at Sinclair Elementary. 

Mrs. Ashley Vargas, assistant speech pathologist, and I enjoy working together to help support our students in achieving effective communication. We are so glad to be a part of the Sinclair Special Education Team!
