Mrs. Garcia has been in Education since 2013. She first served as a 7th grade English Teacher at Terrell Wells Middle School in HISD for 7 years, and then moved over to East Central High School where she is currently serving as an English 2 teacher, Head Cheer Coach, and Instructional Facilitator over the English Department. 

Mrs. Garcia is a product of ECISD and is very proud to be positively impacting the community in which she was raised.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English w/ concentration in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A & M University San Antonio.
