The Basics

Hi!  My name is Mr. Shawn McKenna!  Welcome to Tech Apps and PE!  I will be your teacher for the 2023-2024 school year!  This will be my 2nd year teaching High School and I am excited to make this an amazing year!

A Little About Me

I grew up in Salix, Iowa where I graduated from high school in 1993. I joined the Air Force after graduation, stationed all over the world while on active duty. I joined the air national guard in 2000 where I made multiple deployments to the middle east, South America, and Europe. I have been married for 19 years and we have been blessed with 4 amazing kids. Ryan (26), Taylor (26), Christian (25), and Juliana (16). I love anything related to History, especially early colonial, ancient Egypt, and WWI, WWII. I have a wealth of knowledge to pass on that will make you think and get excited about learning!
