Esmeralda Carr

Ms. Carr graduated with an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Texas Pan American in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. She later went on to earn her teaching certificate from Southwest Texas State University. She started her teaching career in East Central ISD in 2002 at Harmony Elementary as a first-grade teacher. She later began working as their No Child Left Behind Facilitator and earned her Master’s degree in Education and Community Leadership from Texas State University where she is a lifetime member of the Texas State University Alumni Association. She is an active member of the San Antonio running and triathlon community having completed races from a 5K distance to a full Ironman triathlon. She currently serves the Sinclair Elementary community as their Programs Facilitator where she oversees the campus Multi-Tiered Support Systems (MTSS), Section 504 Programs, campus English Learner programs, and all campus testing systems including STAAR.
