I feel very fortunate to call the East Central ISD community my home. I have known this amazing school district ever since I attended John Glenn as a first grader. I am a proud graduate of East Central High School as well as both my son and daughter. I have numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who also attended ECISD so it is definitely an important part of my family's educational journey. I received my Bachelor's degree in education from Trinity University and have been teaching for 35 rewarding years. The last 22 years have been at ECISD. This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade at Tradition Elementary. I absolutely love watching children become excited about literature, write passionately, and inspire each other with their thoughts and insight! There's nothing better!
