Counselors

TIA Web Header

School Counselors play a vital role in supporting the academic, personal, and emotional growth of all students. They provide guidance in areas such as goal setting, decision-making, and career planning, while also helping students navigate social or emotional challenges that may affect learning. Through classroom lessons, small group sessions, and individual counseling, school counselors foster positive relationships, build resilience, and connect students and families with additional resources when needed—ensuring every child has the support to succeed in school and beyond.

Each campus also benefits from a Communities In Schools caseworker and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). Additionally, a Comprehensive Case Management Team is in place to provide EC Cares wrap-around support services for students, families, and staff, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health and well-being across the district.
