Welcome to the Federal Programs & Grants Department!

The East Central ISD Federal Programs and Grant Department is responsible for the coordination and supervision of various federal, state, and local programs including, but not limited to: ESSA, State Compensatory Education (SCE), and TEA Grants. We also coordinate with District personnel who provide programs and events that promote student, staff, parent, family and community engagement to ensure that federal programs and grants are managed responsibly, meeting all compliance and reporting requirements.

Public Notice of Intent to Apply for Federal Grant Funds

Private Non Profit

Any Private Non-Profit (PNP) school that serves an East Central ISD residing youth may contact the District's Federal Programs Coordinator to discuss what applicable, equitable services may exist and be arranged for the student, family, and/or school. Each ESSA component, as well as all other Federal Funding resources, differs regarding intentions, requirements, and funding parameters of PNP services; therefore, PNPs and public school districts are required to engage in timely and meaningful consultations.

Timeline for ESSA PNP Consultations for 2025-2026 Services will be scheduled to occur between May 1 and June 1, 2025.
