The East Central ISD Social Services Department exists to facilitate services for our students and their families by providing direct services and referrals to community resources to ensure hardships or circumstances associated with identified students do not interfere with the student's academic success.

Bexar County Fostering Education Success (BCFES) compiles a comprehensive map of local resources for youth with lived foster care experience and their community members.

CLIMB for Foster Youth
Cultivating Learning In Middle School & Behind (CLIMB) is the BCFES's pre-college pipeline that provides a clear pathway for youth in foster care from secondary education systems to post-secondary institutions (UTSA, TAMUSA, & Alamo Colleges District) through a specialized college-readiness and socio-emotional curriculum
