At East Central ISD, every campus is equipped with a dedicated school counselor to support student well-being. Mental health measures are a priority, with social-emotional standards integrated into the curriculum to help students develop interpersonal skills and emotional management.

Each campus also benefits from a Communities In Schools caseworker and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). Additionally, a Comprehensive Case Management Team is in place to provide EC Cares wrap-around support services for students, families, and staff, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health and well-being across the district.
