East Central ISD’s Bilingual/ESL & LOTE department fosters cultural pride, global awareness, and academic excellence.Students develop a strong sense of their own cultural identity while gaining the intercultural understanding needed to thrive in an increasingly connected world. We celebrate multilingualism as an asset that expands opportunities. Students build language skills that allow them to pursue meaningful credentials, careers, and pathways in today’s dynamic economy.
Through rigorous instruction, students learn to read with depth, write with purpose, think critically, and solve problems creatively—preparing them for success in school and life.

Bilingual Education Programs
Our District programs are structured according to the state guidelines. The programs provide instructional services for students identified as English Language Learners (ELLs).
Together, we will customize learning experiences so that every student is continuously challenged to advance their knowledge and ability in every classroom in every school, every day.
