Information Systems Department
East Central ISD’s student information system (SIS) is the platform within which we collect, analyze, and report on student demographics, attendance, discipline, grades, health, and scheduling; and serves as the pipeline through which we share data necessary to the implementation of a myriad number of teaching and learning applications. Consolidating information from otherwise siloed departments ensures that data and resources are available in a universally accessible location and allows for open communication across the district.
Additional features of our current SIS are the TeacherPortal, ParentPortal, and StudentPortal applications which provide parents and students the real-time availability to access student-related information such as grade and attendance data, as well as provide ease of access for communication between teachers and parents.
