    Hello Salado families! I have the great honor to serve as the Principal of Salado Elementary. I received my Bachelor's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and my Master's degree from Trinity University. This is my 28th year in education at East Central ISD. The families, especially the students, have a special place in my heart. I love seeing their smiling faces every day. Please know I am here to serve you and your children. We work hard with our amazing staff to make sure we meet the needs of our students. Together as a staff, we hold tight to building our students as leaders. We truly believe in growing the whole child. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us to help you in any way.

    Greetings Salado Families! My name is Delilah De La Rosa and I’m extremely excited and blessed to serve the Salado community as the Assistant Principal. I am a mother to 3 amazing children and a wife to another public servant. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Masters of Arts in Education in Curriculum & Instruction and School Leadership from UTSA. I’ve been an educator for fifteen years as an Instructional Assistant, Teacher, Instructional Literacy Coach, Interventionist, and currently as Assistant Principal. My goal this year is to learn the campus systems while developing as many positive relationships with our students and families. I am a believer in fostering and developing the best possible educational experience and opportunity for all students. This is going to be a great school year and please know that I am here for you!

    Salado family, I am delighted to begin another school year that will be filled with an abundance of learning. I am honored and privileged to continue to serve as your Academic Facilitator of Salado Elementary. I will be entering my seventeenth year in education, of which all have been with East Central. During my educational teaching career, I have taught Kindergarten through Third Grade in the Dual Language program. My goal is to foster a culture of high expectations where all students and staff are pursuing excellence and achieving growth both socially and academically.     Hello, this is my sixth year as the Programs Facilitator for Salado Elementary. This is my twenty-ninth year in education and sixth year at East Central ISD. I've previously taught all grade levels from 2nd grade to post secondary. I earned my Master in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in reading from Grand Canyon University. My goal is to build teacher knowledge of MTSS and other programs on campus to ensure that the needs of all students are being met. I look forward to another year at Salado.

    Hello, I am the Bilingual Instructional Literacy Coach for Salado Elementary. This is my ninth year in education and second year at East Central ISD. I've previously taught in monolingual and dual language 1st through 3rd grade classrooms. I earned my Master in Leadership and Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My goal is to help teachers develop literacy practices that will promote students' academic growth. I look forward to a year filled with engaging learning experiences for all of our students.

    Hello Families, I am the Leadership Academy Instructional Literacy Coach for Salado Elementary. This is my 14th year in education. The past eight years have been here at East Central ISD. In my time here at ECISD I have taught Pre K through 5th grade. I have also had several leadership opportunities including leading grade level teams to success, mentoring and coaching teachers with a focus on growing their students in the areas Reading and Writing. I have also provided district wide Literacy Professional Development. I'm looking forward to being part of the Saldao community this year.

    Patriot Family, I am the Special Education Facilitator. I am a product of East Central and a graduate of Texas State University. I have 11 years of experience in education. I was a 4th-grade teacher, a special education teacher, and now a facilitator. I have been at Salado for 8 years. The special education department seeks to identify learning challenges for our students so that we can create a plan to meet our student’s needs. We look forward to serving our students and our families.

I earned my Master in Library Science from Texas Woman's University and a Masters in Reading from Texas A&M San Antonio. I am passionate about all things reading, providing access for all our students, and to create and cultivate a community of readers.
