    Mission Statement

     

    The mission of the East Central High School Counseling Center is to provide exceptional service within the educational environment that contributes to the academic success, personal growth, and positive social contribution of East Central High School students. We embrace a student-oriented philosophy that is respectful of diversity and is committed to the development of the student as a whole person.

    Course Selections for the 2019 - 2020 School Year are:

    Juniors = Dec. 10th - 13th

    Sophomores = Dec. 17th - 19th

    Freshmen = Week of Jan. 8th - 11th

    8th graders = Month of January 2019

    Can I change my schedule?

    YES, if:

    I already received credit for a class.

    I have a missing period on my schedule.

    I did not pass the prerequisite class.

    I need a class for a graduation requirement/Endorsement/to be Distinguished.

     

    NO, if:

    I want a different teacher/section time.

    I want to be with my friends.

    I need a certain lunch period.

    The class is on Personal Graduation Plan.

    I feel this class will not benefit me.
