New Student Registration

  • While registration on TxConnect has paused, new student, returning student and pre-k registration can still be completed by downloading the packet (see below) and giving the completed packet to your school's front office or they can be emailed as well (click here for a list of registration email contacts by campus). Online registration will resume later this summer after we have upgraded to ASCENDER Parent Portal.

    You can also register in-person on the following dates:

    East Central High School:
    July 26 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.   *   July 27 from 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.   *   July 28 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.   *   July 29 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Elementary Schools and Middle Schools:
    July 27 from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.   *   July 28 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

    The following documents are required for all new students:

    • Driver's license
    • Proof of residency – Most recent electric bill or lease agreement (address must match Photo ID/Driver’s License).
    • Child’s birth certificate - Child’s official birth certificate or the most recent court document if there is a change to the birth certificate (Example: name change).
    • Child's social security number - Social security card preferred but not required.
    • Immunizations – Up-to-date immunizations records.
    • Recent academic records – Report card, withdrawal form, transcript, etc.
