Welcome to my page. My name is Rosalba McCain. My family includes my two children, husband, and many pets! I am a graduate of Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. I have been teaching now for 7 years. I am a native Spanish speaker and love the dual langauge program. I have taught many grade levels from PK-6th grade, however my true love is early childhood education. I have also taught previously in other bilingual and dual language programs. In 2018 I was awarded the School Teacher of the year (Zapata South Elementary School) as well as the District Teacher of the year (Zapata Independant School District). Outside of school, I'm an artist and love to travel. 

Bienvenidos a mi página. Mi nombre es Rosalba McCain. ¡Mi familia incluye a mis dos hijos, mi esposo y muchas mascotas! Me gradué de la Universidad Internacional Texas A&M en Laredo, TX. He estado enseñando ahora durante 7 años. Soy una hablante nativa de español y me encanta el programa de idioma dual. He enseñado muchos grados desde PK hasta 6º grado, sin embargo, mi verdadero amor es la educación infantil. También he enseñado anteriormente en otros programas bilingües. En 2018 fui atorgada el premio como el Maestro de Escuela del año (Escuela Primaria Zapata South) así como el premio de la Maestra de Distrito del año (Distrito Escolar Independiente de Zapata). Fuera de la escuela, soy artista y me encanta viajar.
