    AVID Club is a college and career readiness club that is open to all ECHS students. AVID's mission is to close the achievement and opportunity gap by preparing ALL students for college readiness and success in a global society. We focus on study skills, successful habits, volunteer opportunities and college visits. 
    BETA Club
    The Beta club is a nationally recognized honor club. With a qualifying GPA, students can earn volunteer credit, develop character skills, and engage in extra-curricula activities.

     The ECHS Film Appreciation Club will create a community of students who enjoy film by encouraging a deeper look into the world of cinema and all it has to offer. Students will analyze, interpret, and discuss motifs, social commentary, symbolism, and other cinematic techniques in order to gain a further understanding of a film's true meaning and its impact on culture.

    National Art Honor Society

    National Honor Society
     Membership is by invitation only and is based upon a cumulative GPA of 90.0 or higher, a clean discipline record, and teacher referrals. The focus of NHS is scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
    PALS Logo
    Peer Assistance Leadership & Service. PALS is a club and class for Juniors and Seniors dedicated to service to their school and community. Our PALS organize service projects on the ECHS campus on a monthly basis, help new students adjust to ECHS and mentor younger students in the district's elementary and intermediate schools. To be a PAL the student would have to fill out an application that includes teacher recommendations and an interview process. No more than 25 PALS are chosen per school year.

    TAFE stands for Texas Association of Future Educators at the Texas level and the National level- Educators Rising. TAFE is geared towards any student that would like to work in the education field after high school.
     We are the vocational training program. We encourage community participation through job coaching in the activities that we participate in
