Welcome to the East Central Police Department's homepage. We are committed to serving the citizens of this diverse school district with a proactive approach to solving problems in the community. The East Central ISD School Board authorized the establishment of our police department on September 27, 1990, via the Education Code 37.081. The ECISD police department employs ten full time and two part time licensed Texas Peace Officers. All of the full time officers have previous experience with city, sheriff, or constable law enforcement agencies.
Our police department provides the following
services to the East Central ISD:
- Campus Security - Traffic Control - Safe School Programs - Junior Achievement - Security at Special Events - Adopt-A-Highway Program - Crisis Intervention - 24 hr. On-Call Officer - Enforcement of Traffic Laws
