    The ASVAB is open to Juniors and Seniors in high school at East Central High School.

     

    What is the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)?

    The ASVAB is a timed multi- aptitude test. It is one of the most widely used multiple aptitude tests in the world. It is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a great and useful tool that can help you to identify and explore a career path that is right for you. The ASVAB assesses crucial areas: Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Mathematics Knowledge.

    If I take the ASVAB, will the military contact me?

     

    No, you are under no obligation to join the military or to speak with anyone from the military unless you have indicated an interest in doing so.

    The cost of the ASVAB test is FREE, and it will be administered at East Central High School!

     

    Sign up in the counseling center by Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 for the FEBRUARY 28, 2017 ASVAB test.
