Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Michael Tokarski
Hello, I am Michael Tokarski and I am the Law Enforcement Teacher at East Central High School. This is a brand new program for this campus and I am excited to be here.
I started my Law Enforcement Career while I was enlisted in the Marine Corps. I cross trained with the Military Police, although my actual job was Logistics. I did deploy twice to the Middle East where I served as the S3 Training Clerk and provided training such as Rifle Range and Physical Fitness Tests.
After returning to the United States I attended the Police Academy at San Antonio College, graduating in 10 months. I quickly found a Police Agency where I started as a Police Dispatcher, I moved to Patrol shortly thereafter. I worked as a Police Officer in the City of Kirby for 1 year and 2 month before transfering to the City of Cibolo. I stayed there for about 2 years before moving to the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Police Department and was able to return to school at this time. I earned my Associates degree in Law Enforcement and my Bachelors degree in Justice administration. I completed my Bachelors degree in 2009.
I begin my 7th year of teaching and this is my 1st year at East Central and I am thrilled to be here! The Law Enforcement Program in new to ECISD, and I am proud to be the one to start the program. This is a very large subject and will be getting a brief overview of many different parts of the law.
I am currently completing my Master Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Justice Administration. I am looking to continuing my education at St. Mary's School of Law within the next year.
Like I said I am thrilled to be at East Central High School and really look forward to working with the students.
